Barbftr (External enemies)

Barbftr (External enemies) screenshot

The first iteration of the *ftr style games where enemies are no longer part of the base flash game file. It has the largest number of enemies. It saw some features retrofitted, such as widescreen resolution and the rolling mechanic. Because of this, you may encounter weird behavior with earlier enemies made before these changes.

Barbftr (TLOZ)

A Barbftr clone with internal enemies. This one replaces the sprites and enemies with (mostly) Zelda themed ones. Note: This one requires usage of the mouse. If you're grappled and cannot get away you may need to click on the monster or the player sprite.

Blu's Barbftr

This is a different approach to the Ftr style games, and only two enemies exist. Rather than having a random assortment of enemies, you pick one on an info screen and fight it. Doing so would eventually unlock more enemies, but none were ever made beyond the two initial ones. The game was put on hold indefinitely in 2016. This game has no petting mechanic, instead it's replaced with mana based attacks that are less likely to make enemies angry. Unique to this game is a mood meter that can change the enemy behavior. It's influenced by your behavior towards the enemy.

I8U

This game saw only a few enemies. It's basically the precursor to Helixftr. 3 Enemies are known to exist. Read the instructions on the main screen carefully, especially those hidden behind the 'Tips' label on the top left. This game has a slightly different control scheme that focuses on quick actions.

I8U2

This game only saw a single enemy being made. It was probably intended to be a more peaceful interaction since the default was switched from attacking to petting, and the only konwn enemy will not hurt the player in any way.

Panftr

The second iteration of the *ftr style games. This one introduced the rolling mechanic. Vore type is mostly endo, as Pan is considered to be indestructible. That doesn't means you can escape every enemy once eaten.
